Take a look at some favorite images from this vintage pre-mitzvah shoot. This bar mitzvah boy’s mom has been working overtime! For his bar mitzvah celebration at Factory 22o, she developed a concept for a theme and look she called “vintage man cave.” She spent quite a while scouring the earth for antique and vintage sporting gear, signs and masculine accessories. They brought a whole bunch of sporting gear to use as props for our pre-bar mitzvah photo shoot. This was a great collaboration and we had an amazing time turning a local neighborhood into the 1930’s for part of an afternoon. Our subject was perfect for the theme of this shoot and converting the images to black and white – and sepia – added to the vintage feel. The images looked incredible printed large and hung from the brick walls of the loft-like party space. Stay tuned for the temple and party pictures.
