I’ve been passing by this spot as I drive through Essex County’s South Mountain Reservation, toward Pleasant Valley Way, every morning for the last few weeks. Each time I see this firey tree I think I should have brought along a camera to make some pictures before its plumage is lost once again to winter. Earlier this week, I finally remembered. Here are the results.
